After hurricane florence this insurance company is still refusing to pay, someone should be investigating these people and their affiliates. Seems there is some favoritism going on with in this company and regulators .

Absolutely the worst insurance company. Found damage to my home during the selling process and filed a claim. The damage was ruled as wear and tear of over the length of time which couldn't be determined. I ate the cost for the repair to have the contractor tell me that the leak was coming from higher up where the insurance said it wasn't. I am in the process of filing suit, but the time and money lost is already gone. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

9/17/18-File a claim after Hurricane Florence. Took almost two weeks for a field adjuster to come in (they brought someone from Texas). Wait another week, desk adjuster makes contact. Wait an additional three weeks (with no returned phone calls or contact from insurance company) for them to send a check with the wrong mortgage company on it--even after I provided paperwork showing the sale of the loan. By far this is the worst insurance company there is. Basically they do not cover anything and they go above and beyond to disqualify their clients. I cancelled both of my properties insurance with Lighthouse right after they denied my claim.
This is the worst insurance company. They use third-party claim services who do not care about your issue and never pay you for your damages. I had hurricane Harvey based damaged that have not been paid and they dont even respond. Please dont get caught in the low rates that they entice you to join them. They are not a good company and th etexas attorney general should look into their practices.
