We were on vacation in OBX when my toddler started having intense coughing attacks. We saw Dr.B and he was the kindest Dr we've ever met. He listened to our concerns with patience and kindness, he treated us with compassion and respect, and he addressed the medical concerns with diligence and wisdom. He had our prescriptions called in within minutes and my son got immediate improvement from his symptoms. Had to go see Dr. Blackwood for a bad laceration on my foot. Cut it on a nail on the deck of our vacation house coming off the beach. They close at 3. We arrived literally at 2:58. Was welcomed in. And treated immediately. Dr. Blackwood and his staff which happens to be his wife and daughter are amazing. Can’t say enough good things about him and his demeanor. Was stitched up and sent to the pharmacy for meds and a shot. All with a smile and left me his cell phone number if there are any problems. Thank you Doc!!
The staff and Dr Blackwood were very kind and caring and really listened !! Best Dr experience in years !! I wish he was my home Dr .. thanks Virginia C .. also the office setting is like virgin river !!
My 2.5 year old fell at the park and lacerated his head. We were so fortunate to find Lighthouse medical care right down the road. The doctor examined him right away and was so caring and compassionate. My son ended up needing staples and it was a very quick procedure. We are so thankful for the care we received today and the kindness of the doctor and receptionist.
