I took a lifeguarding class with these people in Standish ME through Red Cross and it was bad. Raymond was very cruel and manipulative towards me. I got kicked out of the course because he claimed I wasn’t playing a victim in a pool scenario correctly, even though I did as I was instructed. A female instructor chose to wait until the end of one of the days to scream at me for doing something wrong in front of everyone. I do not recommend this place. The instructors argued against what the other were saying, and they gave a lot of attention to certain students over others. It was unprofessional beyond belief. I would go anywhere else but here. I will let Red Cross know, because they shouldn’t employe this company. It looks bad on them.
Currently in process of suing this company. Raymond made me feel completely uncomfortable. I would go anywhere but here. I find it unprofessional they allowed a student late to class but not me 1 minutes behind him. I feel it was because I am not of white ethnicity as I was the only Mexican there. He has a sign up saying 15 minutes is acceptable I was 7min late. Then argued with me in the entrance of the door while everyone listened. Hope he resigned before my sue for racism goes through.
