I called Elkhorn Electric and I did not have any issues. Lighthouse electric would not provide an onsite evaluation without charging $120 an hour. I had a date set and once they realized I just wanted an evaluation they moved it out an additional month. I understand if they are to busy to do evaluations, but who wants to have work done with an overpriced verbal estimate?

Lighthouse electrical upgraded my service to 600 amps and provided panels in my new garage and workshop on Sweet Creek Road in Mapleton. They handled a difficult permit process and their work passed inspection with complements from the inspector. The workers they sent were friendly and professional. Their rates were fair considering I am in the woods and no other contractors would even come out to provide an estimate. I did need to wait a few weeks for them because they are always busy, but they were worth the wait.

I called Lighthouse for an emergency electrical issue. While they weren't able to immediately help with my issue (my equipment is very old), they were fast, professional, helpful and friendly.

In person verbal estimate, of course, not written job $3,000 - $3,500. Waited over a month for written estimate. Called back 10 times , at least. Alicia very pleasant to speak with. Estimate received over $5,000, rounded near $6,000. Seriously ? REALLY ? It's like they don't want the business or they're another Skanky company out there thinking women don't understand the cost of jobs. I'd give - 20 if it was on this scale.
