I was a "guest" there for a week. 168 hours of my life. My visit could have been prevented if I was assessed but officers who drug me out of bed after my mother overreacted to a comment I made. That being said, as a positive person, I chose to suck it up and maybe learn something. Most of the staff were kind. But a number of them were dismissive and treat their patients like criminals. This is such a wonderful place. Definitely a Diamond inthe rough. The staff is so compassionate, calming, and intelligent. They are truly like the angels of God. Nothing ever to say bad aBout them. They follow their protocol and it is the best place for trauma victims/people/survivors. I've experienced enough nearly lifeor death, these regular folk clock-in and do something fantastic every time they come in contact with/help others.
