Great service and high quality materials. Far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend. Workers were wonderful and stayed late till the job was done and we totally understood operation. Their patience and knowledge was outstanding. They were the only company that kept in touch with us while we waited for our house to be rebuilt after a hurricane. Nice to have a company who just checks on you during your rebuilding of your life.
We needed to replace the elevator at our house in ****** Beach. Our timing was pretty tight with rental season coming up. Someone else in ****** Beach had a good experience with Liftavator and recommended them to us. No communications!! Biggest liars I've seen in my 65 years of business--they blame it on their suppliers when they have the option to use other suppliers--poor, poor, poor management. I clicked one star because there is no place for a "negative 10". I am now concerned about their quality of installation if it in any way reflects their pre-installation attitude and performance-- I may as well initiate my lawsuit now. I had called Liftavator in the past year for a minor problem, which they fixed. It was suggested that I replace the battery back up unit which I did. The elevator has recently stopped working for some reason. I called twice within 2 months and could not not get a commitment from them to come service or repair the elevator. I was told by the person that answered the phone that they can't get parts because the unit is out dated. It was installed in 2008. They claimed they have 1000's of customers and are so backed up. We had Liftavator install a new elevator in our home in Bogue, NC after Hurricane Florence. We received excellent service including over a year after installation. However we are having issues getting them back out to check on some problems one of which sounds like the same problem they repaired several months ago. I have called multiple times in the last two months and each time assured that someone we come out to investigate/service by the end of the week or then early the following week. RecommendedRyan came today and fixed my elevator. It was stuck between floors. He was very professional and knowledgeable! Awesome experience with Liftavator and thankful they do weekend service calls!
Because of health reasons, we had a Liftavator installed in our beach house in Emerald Isle, NC. Waited almost 7 months before it was installed and only installed then because we threatened to cancel the contract. Nothing but trouble and excuses ever since. Charged us over $1,000 to repair it when it should have been under warranty. One example: Arrived at Ei on 6/20/19 -- no elevator. Called on 6/21 and a fuse was replaced. The customer originally closed on the elevator 6/29/2017. The elevator was then ordered by our General Manager, **** ******** from Precision Lift Industries, the manufacturer, that same day. On the contract signed by ***** ********** on 6/29/17 it clearly states that the estimated delivery is 8-10 weeks putting the expected delivery date between August 24th to September 7th, 2017. Frank did my yearly inspection today . He was so professional and explained to me several things I was not aware of . He did a great job . Very pleased with liftavator and the service they provide.
