Life Cancer Service has helped me navigate the fear and concerns following initial diagnosis of cancer. All of the staff have been so supportive and assisted my recovery. The exercise program not only helped physically but also helped psychologically. The structure of the program while undergoing chemotherapy was tailored to my needs, and the extended exercise class has helped me immeasurably Great staff fantastic facilities. I have Leukaemia currently in remission but as I don’t do much exercise and am limited by a hip muscle tear and foot arthritis my GP Emma recommended I attend Lift . It’s never too late. I was an 81 year old male living alone with a medical history including multiple myeloma, spinal surgery, two hip and cataract replacements and a stroke.
