This place is an absolute zero if I could rate with zero stars. (At least the counselor I had.) Complete waste of time and effort. Went there seeking help for my marriage and got absolutely nothing in return. This counselor has zero life experience and cannot apply or even understand real world scenarios that fall outside of a textbook. I would absolutely NEVER recommend this place if you are looking for guidance or help.
Update 2026: I stopped working with John. There were just some topics I didn’t feel comfortable addressing with a male counselor. But I still stand behind my initial review and plan to look him up again for premarital/marital counseling. Over the past few years, I’ve worked with several counselors, and I can genuinely say that John Coaxum is one of the best. Set up my first appointment there's no receptionist there's no people working there it is a rented out office space in which people can meet up with therapist and counselors mine didn't even bother showing up no communication no nothing when I called them to see what was going on the lady on the other end basically had no way to contact the person and all they could offer me was rescheduling not a great way to start a new relationship with somebody who's trying to better their mental health I recommend looking somewhere else... read more

Said I needed medication management for my minor child and they signed me up with a therapist instead, then they charged me $99 for cancellation when I told them they set me up with the wrong person, do not go here, they are unorganized and will take advantage of you in your time of need
