Update time. A leak from the installation appeared last year. The installers missed the roof trusses with a number of mounting screws. LQS fixed the leak but failed to inform us that squirrels had been eating the wire coating. The coating on the exposed wires is made from soybeans. A nice processed food source for the squirrels. A couple months later many of our panels went offline. LQS came out and removed the panels for a 2nd time to assess the problem. This is when we found out about the squirrel problem. I had both a brand new roof and solar panels installed from Lifetime Quality. The solar installation was an absolute miserable experience. Lifetime contracts out its installation. My installation was riddled with lack of communication and excuses from Lifetime, often blaming the contractors they employed for problems such as communicating with the HOA for approval, getting permits, meeting deadlines for install, etc. I constantly had to be on the phone with them to move the ball because they did not follow through on communi... read more
