Dr. Karban delivered both of my babies 22’ & 23’ via c-section. Water broke at midnight for 22’ baby and she was at the hospital in no time delivered around 2 a.m. I felt confident in her abilities/ care and trusted her. No issues with her staff she had an amazing nurse when I was a patient but I believe she left so can’t speak on staff now. Sometimes there was a long wait but overall a good experience. Due again, couldn’t go to her for this one due to insurance but would still recommend.
Love Her! She was incredibly supportive of me when I was pregnant!
Dr. Karban is the best doctor. Today my son is 22 years old and our doctor Irina Karban helped him to be born. And I am very sorry that she left Brooklyn. Dear, our beloved, health and happiness to you!!! Believe her, you can trust her.
This woman has to be the worst doctor I have ever seen. She told me I was too old to have kids, should focus on fixing my teeth (I had staining due to a calcium deficiency as a child) and that I should stop taking a medication for nerve pain in my back (not my vagina or reproductive system, so not her concern). It's alarming how African American women face disproportionately high mortality rates under the care of OBGYNs. I feel compelled to share my own encounter with one such OBGYN. Despite being fully informed of my medical history and familiar with the signs and symptoms of my condition, this provider displayed a concerning lack of empathy, compassion, and overall care towards me as their patient.
