Cancellation is Difficult – I wish I had read reviews before joining. I have tried to cancel my membership for months, but they claim that they never recieve any of my letters, even though at this point, I've mailed well over 10 letters. Each month, I get billed as they refuse to cancel me. No matter how many times I call them at the office, or how many letters I send. They are also extremely rude and not helpful on the phone. Beware – I wish I had read the other review before I joined. Be skeptical of a fitness center whose sales staff out numbers their fitness staff. Bogus cancellation policy. Very bad customer service. rude and degrading. Had to stop payment through my bank.

Lousy customer Service....please read your contract – I have been a member with Lifestyles for several years and check out how they treat their customers. I called in May 2011 to cancel my membership due to moving. They spent several minutes trying to get me to stay on as a member by relocating to another facility and I had to say no several times. They finally said OK. I confirmed that there would be one more payment charged to my credit card (June 2011) and this would be it for Lifestyles. I just received a statement from ... read more
