I had a seizure and my cousin called LifeStar for me. I can’t speak to the service of the EMTs because I was passed out but I can speak on the customer service. A month after the incident I opened some mail from LifeStar and imagine my horror when it was a 1.3k bill. I know ambulances are expensive and honestly I would’ve rather Uber’d but when I called Rita in billing (slightly freaked out) and she was able to review it and find a way for my insurance to cover it. THANK YOU, Rita!

Went into DKA yesterday morning my wife called for ambulance they showed up and did absolutely nothing! I mean they didn’t even help me to the ambulance I was barely functioning. My brother then gets a call from wife about me going to hospital after ambulance arrived to get me he gets up and ready drives across town to hospital realizing I’m not there yet he drives to my house picks up my wife and they go back to hospital and I’m still not there! Still in my driveway while these people do absolutely nothing worst emt service... read more

During the pandemic, we wanted "medic" to wear mask. " your husbands emergency is more important than covid. " ( It was not enough of an emergency that 2 seconds would have made any difference.) That attitude is horrible. If he had caught covid it would have killed him.
