My Mother has gone in for two procedures and can’t say enough about the wonderful staff
My son Andrew, was admitted a few weeks ago, and was on the 4th floor, for 11 days, before surgery, for Crohn's disease, and has a bag for a while. I have to say, I was so scared, for my son, then I found a way to fly up, from Sarasota FL, and to see the outstanding care, from EVERYONE, made me feel, so good. And Charlie, the nurse, he was so, so, nice, and made my son, the patient, feel, less stress, about everything. He is always going above and beyond, to make his patient's, feel better. I had knee replacement surgery and everyone from check in, Linda in the waiting area, all of the preop nurses, doctors, anesthesia, my care team on three north Jackie,Marissa,Miriam, and Megan from PT we all so attentive, kind and caring. They made a painful situation much more bearable and easy to get through. I cannot express in simply words the gratitude and praise you all deserve. Great job everyone and thanks so very much. gives you behaviour management medications as a response to you begging for literally just nausea meds 4 times over 5 hours and then needing to take your empty iv with you as it’s actively drawing your blood back into the pouch the saline they gave you was in because you asked an hour ago to go to the bathroom and nobody came to help you for hours and then when you start literally crying as you’re walking down the hallway to find a bathroom they give you dirty looks. it’s literally only as you’re sobbing uncontrollably becau... read more
Miriam Hospital is staffed by well versed and knowledgeable physicians and interns and every time I have been admitted or gone for surgical procedures it has been with relief and satisfaction. Interns are my favorite.
