1st appt I waited over an hour while patients walked in and out after me..they said it was a computer error..2nd appt I was informed that I canceled the appt , which I did not and was told there was nothing available today after I took time out of work..Most unprofessional staff I have ever witnessed

Was a patient there for 7 years when all of a sudden, without warning, they discharged me from their care. Told me because my heart failure was “stable” my primary care doctor could look after it now. But I get my primary care from a residency clinic where the doctors are still in training and don’t have any expertise in cardiology. Which was why I was sent to the Institute in the first place. I have multiple things wrong with my heart that are serious and progressive in nature—yet I don’t merit being under the care of a car... read more

I have been a patient at this Cardiology clinic since 2021 when I had a heart attack. This is a teaching facility, and so sometimes I see a Cardiology resident who is supervised by a licensed cardiologist. The best resident that I have worked with in the past 3 years is Dr Suleiman. He is very thorough with his questions, he listened to my concerns, he was able to help me get short-term disability so I could focus on my heart health and go to cardiac rehab for 12 weeks. Was dismissed even though I had pericarditis. Had to go up to MGH to get a diagnosis and treatment, which happened right away. I am female and athletic and I am convinced there's unconscious bias going on - the provider thought I "looked good" and did not run the necessary test, which was an MRI.
