I switched care to Life's Journey at 24 weeks. I wanted a vba2c and wasn't finding the support desired in the State College area. I also loved that the midwives delivered 80% of the babies while also having an OB on site for the just in case. After my second baby a NICU was also important to me just in case. I felt heard and supported by the providers during my appointments. I switch my carer to life's journey in the third trimester of my third pregnancy. I wanted to VBA2C and wasn't finding any support in the State college area for this despite having very few contraindications. Almost everyone that I had appointments with was absolutely amazing. They made me feel heard and like a human. They made eye contact with me and answered my questions. Two things that I had rarely experienced with my other pregnancies. Jesus Christ how many phone calls do I need to make to this facility?? I requested my records 1 month ago, as I need to take them to my new OBGYN in a different state. I keep calling and calling and calling and nobody ever answers. I just need my medical records but apparently that is too much to ask?????
This office already has a terrible reputation. After signing into the office electronically I was ignored and left waiting while the receptionist looked right at me the whole time. I got up and asked what was going on. She said that my sign in must not have gone through. She then said I did not have an appointment and then backtracked and said I did have one but they had to cancel my appointment due to the doctor being on call.
