04/11/25 My children were involved in an accident on the corner of 24th and stateline Ave. My car was totaled with airbag deployment. Ambulance arrived and ems crew only checked on individuals in other vehicle involved and didn't not check on my children at all. Other vehicle had a deer guard and no damage to their vehicle at all. Very disappointed in the lack of care and professional from the ems team as i am EMS and also a Nurse so I know specifically how the scene should be operated upon arrival. Picked me up on 30 totaled pickup, broken neck. Their actions on the scene kept me from paralyzed.
Micheal and Alan were so great with me. I haven't lived here for very long and where I used to live I did not like the paramedic system whatsoever. But these 2 men were men indeed. Micheal drove while Alan laughed with me in the back. Even though I was in excruciating pain, Alan continued to laugh with me and keep my mind off of my pain. Thank Beavis and Butthead! (Only Micheal will know this reference 😂)
My daughter drank CBD/THC to help her sleep, having never taken before; the paramedics LAUGHED @her. She thought she was having a heart attack. Argued with her; wouldn’t take her to Christus ER as requested; I believe THIS is the most Unprofessional thing I have ever witnessed in the medical field. It is wrong. This has thrown Our daughter, back into PTSD, and cannot speak.
