I would never go here again!
Would give zero stars if I can. The lady at the front (sounds Eastern European, but not sure), she was extremely rude and unprofessional, essentially yelled at me for taking 2 seconds to think about when I had my last meal. I have never had such a terrible, humiliating experience at LifeLabs or anywhere in the healthcare system in Canada in my 5 decades here. I had an appointment at Life Labs, 4430 Bathurst St Suite 211, North York, ON M3H 3S3, at 4:10 PM on August 12, 2025. During my blood test, the needle went in too deep, causing significant bruising and pain to my hand. It also affected a nerve, and I could not move my fingers it hurt too much. The lady who did the test was extremely rude. I will attach a photo for reference.
I had my blood drawn here. The phlebotomist rubbed the outside of her nostrils right before she put on gloves. Then, she drew my blood. This is absolutely not best practice and she knows better. This put me at risk, but I felt I couldn't say anything beforehand for fear of the phlebotomist thinking I was criticizing her. I will not be returning to this location.
Today, Erna helped me with my blood test and she was absolutely wonderful. Very kind helpful & professional and she did such a great job. Thank you Erna!
