We were lucky to have found Life Care Pet Hospital for TPLO surgery on our 100lb Shepherd after interviewing four DVMs. Dr 'A' proved an expert. We quickly accepted his reasonable estimate and recommended surgery timeline. Our dog did well in post surgery rehab and had no complications. Our GSD wasn't in pain after surgery and for the most part, he didn't want medications. He's recovered his mobility as we hoped, and has about 95% agility. My 10 week old German Shepherd broke his tibia in several places and needed surgery. Dr. Ahluwalia and Dr. Murphy performed the surgery. They put in a plate with 9 screws along the length of the bone. My puppy within 2 weeks was feeling great. He recovered so quickly!!! It was difficult for us to keep him still because he was ready to be a puppy. Over the next 4 weeks you couldn’t tell he ever had a surgery.
