In 1992 ish I brought my then Father in law there with a police escort from the Canada/USA border. We are Canadians ice fishing at Moose Lake when my Father in Law had a heart attack at 9:00 PM in our cabin. The closest hospital was Roseau so the resort owner made arrangement to have a trooper waiting for us at the border which was very, very nice as I didn’t know where the hospital was. Talk about throwing! My husband stood up and said he wanted to go home. The doctor pushed him hard back down. Not necessary. Words would have been better. The doctor said that he was a former policeman and wrestler and had no trouble handling patients.
Such a hit and miss ER. Really waste of my time going in to have the doctor be condescending to me and argue about a procedure given by their last ER doctor that was successful. Disappointing!
