For almost 3 years I’ve had back pain due to a herniated disk. I had to take 2 steroid shots to my lower back followed by physical therapy for 3 months. In the end, I don’t know if the physical therapy worked or it was simply the steroid shot that I received. Perimenopause started at age 50 with terrible hot flashes, fibroid tumors and heavy menstrual cycles. One year into post-menopause, the lining of my uterus measured 21mm.
