Nice staff
The General Practitioner Doctor advised me to donate blood as I had blood that was too thick (too many red blood cells) but at the donation centre they had to ring head office who were annoyed that I was donating ‘for medical reasons’ ??? Like … does it matter ? And why would the doctor say to do it if so ? This wasn’t explained well to me and I wasted over an hour there .
I gave blood yesterday on the 10/08. Staff were super friendly and made me feel comfortable when they saw I was nervous. Everyone explained the process and what to expect very well and they were skilled in getting my vein/minimising discomfort.
Always a simple procedure, to give plasma here. Made possible by extremely professional staff.
