Great spot to donate captivated by marine life! The team at Lifeblood Civic were very welcoming. It’s an electronic centre, so you can pretty much walk straight in, head to 1 of 3 kiosks, scan your donor card and get the ball rolling. Or just have a chat with the staff - they’re friendly and happy to help. The only tricky part is the parking, but don’t let that put you off. Kind staff, convenient place for many to donate
I usually donate in Sydney, and this centre absolutely MOGS. First of all, they forgo finger prick to check haemoglobin and just go straight from the arm which is awesome, one less needle. The chairs are so comfy & there’s an aquarium???! And the staff are so friendly! This was the highlight of my trip to Canberra.
Everything is perfect about this donation centre. From the welcoming greeting to the professional care, I felt valued and safe. Lifeblood can be proud of their staff and donation centres. I have to mention the snacks, of course. A great range of options. Top marks to everyone involved.
