I had my second donation at this location. The supervisor on duty (name beginning with A) was cold, unfriendly, and made me feel like a product needing to be harvested. I’m not expecting the red carpet, but a little bit of empathy and humanity would go a long way. I was so stressed out by her demeanour, I ended up experiencing a vasovagal response. I won’t let this deter me from donating, but I wouldn’t come back here again.
I can see why so many people don’t donate anymore. Not a good experience. Made me feel like a fool. Not easy to donate if you’re a first timer. Such a shame.
Honestly, I am very pissed off rn. I have been donating here for 9 months blood and plasma, every two weeks... Two weeks ago I was not allowed to donate due to low iron (last day of my period). Fair. They did tell me, I will be able to donate again in two weeks, no worries. And now, I have got blocked for damn 6 months without even telling me. Thanks for your appreciation!

Managed by friendly and helpful staff. Been donating at this centre and find it centrally located in the City. Always a pleasure to donate at this centre, and reenergize before heading out again!! Handy little Cafe layout next to the donor station !!
