I’ve been a member at Lifetime King of Prussia and have to say the customer service experience has been deeply disappointing. My biggest frustration is that management simply does not listen to member feedback. When you raise a concern or complaint, it falls on deaf ears — and it doesn’t get better as you go up the chain. As a founding member, I never thought I’d be writing this but please do yourself a favor and do not sign up. This club has seriously declined. • Multiple pieces of equipment are constantly broken. • Several shower stalls are out of order. • Lockers are broken and unrepaired. • Parking has become extremely difficult. The women’s steam room was changed and is now barely functional. The steam lasts about 30 seconds, isn’t hot, takes forever to reset, and no longer includes eucalyptus. We’ve been Lifetime KOP members for over 4 years now and have a family membership. There are definitely a few positives about this gym - exercise area (machines, free weights) with a lot of options and is relatively clean; outdoor pool; kids’ club where the kids can do activities while you exercise; and convenient location (close to my house). Wow! The membership rate increases are ridiculous. When I first joined five years ago a single member was $150. Now it’s $239!! That’s a 62% increase. And some of the classes you have to pay separately. The quality doesn’t even align with the cost. The slide at the pool was rarely ever open the same with the snack bar. And theres kids EVERYWHERE running around in the locker rooms. Some of the workout equipment would be out of order for weeks. And it sounds like the prices will continue to increase.
