This one was for an Experience that happened to me 7 years ago, as you can see, I haven’t let it go. And for good reasons, if anyone wants to just give me $70 they can say whatever they want about my post but if you’re not willing to do that then you’d probably be as upset as I am because $70 isn’t cheap. Lots of amenities… but that doesn’t make up for the short comings. Most frustrating are the weights people don’t put away. There are staff on the floor - no enforcement - I raised my kids.. now I gotta clean up after others just to use equipment. Personal trainers stand around chatting… don’t wipe down equip after use… There use to be a gentleman cleaning every time I was there .. haven’t seen that in the last 8 weeks and it shows. I’ve been a member of Lifetime Fitness in Algonquin for over 20 years, and unfortunately, the quality of the gym has declined significantly over the past five years. The equipment is poorly maintained and frequently out of order. I even witnessed someone get injured due to faulty equipment. The spin bikes upstairs are in rough shape, and many of the treadmills skip while in use. More recently, equipment has started to go missing.
