Dr. Davenport is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter is dyslexic & encountered roadblocks learning a unique skill at school unrelated to core academic subjects. Dyslexia Teachers were not trained in that particular subject. Subject matter experts were not trained in dyslexia. She didn't have acknowledgment her dyslexia hampered this particular ability. My daughter loves Dr. Davenport. She has been seeing him for the past five years. She was diagnosed with a mood disorder in 9th grade and had severe problems getting through High School. He was our lifeline until graduation day. He helped us work with the school to get accommodations. He coached our daughter on how to study, prioritize, and self advocate. Wow! If I could give zero stars I would. I have never been to any Therapists/counselor that states “there is really nothing you can do about it!” A professional person with a degree and training doesn’t tell you that it can’t be fixed! Do not waste your time or money with Dr. Davenport! If anything it made things worse!!!
