Disappointing Stay Not Worth the Price We were incredibly disappointed with our stay at this beach house. The property promised a relaxing getaway, but unfortunately, it was nothing like what we expected.First off, the pool was filthy. There was a bandaid floating in the water and the pump was broken, making it completely unusable. Terrible management. Not accommodating at all. They have a housekeeping issue. Would not rent us an empty condo for an extra night. No early check-in accommodations of course. Showed up for our 4:00 check in and condo was still dirty from last customers. We had to wait in the heat for two hours with kids and my elderly mother and they did not care at all. I've gone to Port A almost every summer the last 52 years of my existence. I have never stayed in a place that I thought to complain about until this time. Not only did we spend almost $2000 to rent this place for three nights, but the entire time we were there they were problem after problem after problem. From the fire alarm going off for five hours at a time to the icemaker being broken and dirty to a chair and bunkbed being broken it was just too much. I booked a home a couple weeks ago for a trip in 2023. I just got email saying the wont honor the price and cancelled my trip and said the week I wanted is 3 times what was advertised. Rude customer service and just wouldnt listen to anything and hung up. Worst company I have ever dealt with. My wife and our 7 kids and 9 grandkids are all disappointed and now have to begin our search over. Losing out already on 2 other places because we chose this one.
Life in paradise is the worse place to use in finding a house rental . We had two issues come up this past month with my dad dying the day before we were to go on vacay and we asked for money back but they said we had to reschedule so we had it for last Friday and then my daughter gets a call from work that one employee came down with covid and the employees had to quarantine for 10 days , which started Thursday. Life in Paradise made my vacation great from beginning to end. They were very friendly, and easy to work with. I was greeted with a warm hello and the house we had rented was ready when we arrived. We will definitely be back this summer, and look forward to another week in paradise!
My family has vacationed in Port Aransas for 15 years! We always rent from Life in Paradise. Their service is top notch and will go above and beyond for their customers.
