Several years ago the group sessions were very helpful. Your treatment really depends on how seriously the other people are willing to take the group. Currently, seems as though they aren't serious at all. Although the counselors seem very helpful

Steer clear of this poorly managed office. People are supposed to go there for help, like when a family member dies or whatever. But the phone system is a poorly programmed mess. (Twice I was prompted to press zero for an operator. When I pressed zero, each time the phone just hung up.) And the scenario for scheduling an appointment only flows through one person who doesn't know the difference between Monday and Tuesday, but will happily accuse YOU of being the reason that his schedule is messed up.

This place is the worst. Mandatory 6 weeks with the counselor before you can see the psychiatrist. The counselor I saw was kind but bad. She would literally talk for the entire session. That isn't an exaggeration. In six weeks I spent maybe a collective 8 minutes talking? Nothing deeper than general "hi how are ya" stuff. Then she would ramble for 50 minutes. When I finally got to see the doctor, he missed the appointment. I was there on my lunch break and wasn't able to stay past our scheduled hour. After 45 minutes in the ... read more
