Called to check prices for self pay check and the lady that answered the phone in the houma location was very rude and ugly. towards the end she hung up on me.
I had a GYN appointment with Dr. Mann. My appointment was for 1:30 PM. I arrived at 1 PM. I was not Asked to go back until 2 PM. I was given a paper gown that opened in the front and left in the room for 40 minutes. Not one time did anybody check on me. I had other Appointments that Afternoon. At 2:40 I had to walk out to the nurses station in a paper gown that opened in the front and asked if The doctor was going to see me. It wasn’t until then that I got any attention. I cannot recommend this facility enough! Both Dr. Courtnie Seaton (pediatrics) and Dr. Elena Mann (OBGYN) are phenomenal doctors, and following them from their previous locations was the best decision I could have made. Dr. Mann originally recommended Dr. Seaton when I was pregnant with my son, and I am so grateful she did. Dr. Seaton is incredibly thorough and has a special way of connecting with her patients. Very disappointed Dr. Menham. I have PCOS, a disease that causes insulin resistance, similar to Type 2 Diabetes. I politely asked Dr. Menham to write me a letter stating that I have insulin resistance, and a semaglutide or trizepatide would be beneficial to assisting in controlling my insulin resistance. She refused because she says that these medications are only approved for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes.
