A healthy 25 year old with 2 prior healthy pregnancies and births should not have to have an emergency hysterectomy during childbirth with her 3rd child, but that is exactly what happened to me when I have birth to my 3rd child. Dr. Windham was called in for my emergency surgery yesterday morning. (6/29/23) I'd never met her before. She was honest and compassionate in a fast-moving, ever evolving situation.
