I got to say they help changed my life but I just tried to call to see if I can get my medication after work because I got called in early but I'm not off until 1:00 and the life change center closes at 12:45 so I called to see if I can get my meds for the weekend and they just rudely told me no they will not wait for me leaving Me with withdrawals all weekend while I have to work. Staff is as wonderful as can be. They really understand and believe in what they're doing and are committeed to doing it the *right way*. Great counselors, nurses, front desk people that are very easy to talk to and really give great advice. I've been going for a lot longer than I'd like to admit but I've been clean for 6 years because of the tools I've acquired in my time at the LCC have equipped me for not only kicking my addiction but also preparing me to lead a much more sober and healthy life. I cannot believe the things people have to go through at this facility. They always try to find a reason to take your steps and chop you down. The life control center is not bound on helping you but rather being more like a parole center or even your life's main purpose. If I could, I would give them zero stars, but am not able to.
I can not say enough good things about this place. During a period of time in my life in which I experienced extreme shame and cruelty/mistreatment from others they showed me nothing but kindness and support. I often felt as if I wasn’t worthy of recovery and even on my hardest days they would show up with a smile on their face and a kind word of encouragement. They were my biggest cheerleaders.
