I cannot believe the things people have to go through at this facility. They always try to find a reason to take your steps and chop you down. The life control center is not bound on helping you but rather being more like a parole center or even your life's main purpose. If I could, I would give them zero stars, but am not able to.
I can not say enough good things about this place. During a period of time in my life in which I experienced extreme shame and cruelty/mistreatment from others they showed me nothing but kindness and support. I often felt as if I wasn’t worthy of recovery and even on my hardest days they would show up with a smile on their face and a kind word of encouragement. They were my biggest cheerleaders. If I were asked to describe this MAT center in one sentence it would be "TLCC of Carson City is the Ritz Carlton of methadone clinics." The clinic director runs the center like a well oiled machine. It's clean, it's organized, patients are attended to quickly and most importantly you're treated with respect and dignity by him and all staff. I only have experience with one of the counselors and I just couldn't ask for a better counselor than mine. She goes above and beyond in supporting you. But never violates boundaries.
