It's been a good program! I would highly recommend to anyone needing help with substance abuse!
I'm thankful to have come here. The staff has been great, along with my peers. The process has been challenging but I'm glad they encouraged me to continue with treatment. I have a plan now that the life center has helped me develop, and I look forward to living a life full of sobriety!
This will be part 1 of several parts detailing my late September/early October admission and short stay at the HILLSVILLE campus of this facility, before I left AMA in mid October. This is a shelter or Medicaid flop spot to warehouse patients and collect revenue. The majority of patients here are methadone/suboxone, in treatment as a deferral to jail or homelessness. This place welcomed me with open arms & taught me the necessary tools for long-term recovery.
I've enjoyed my stay here at the life center. I am taking all of the advice they have given me and plan to live a much better life! I am beyond grateful for this program and all they have done for me! I would highly recommend to anyone in need of help.
