We unfortunately weren't able to move my father into the facility before he passed but the staff was amazing. Especially Dawn with admissions, she came to the hospital and in fact still checks on me. She is amazing.
My mother has been in skilled nursing and memory care for a year now. It is an older facility but what I can honestly say is that they communicate very well about my mother's care. I have not had a negative experience with any of the staff. Even the maintenance employees treat my mother with dignity. Our family tried to care for our mother for a while. The admission staff, nurses, and kitchen staff have made my mothers transition to a Nursing facility 100% easier than I would have ever expected. Holly in admissions is very knowledgeable and will explain things from start to finish. The Nursing staff is so caring and compassionate. Will answer questions right away and will give words of encouragement. The kitchen has many things to pick from and the food is always hot and large portions. I recently had surgery for a large hernia, then had a second surgery because the first failed. After a rough time and almost dying twice, I finally left the hospital and went to the Life Care Center of Andover. And from the very first day, everyone was very nice and helpful to me...EVERYONE. This place has some of the nicest people, it's fantastic. And I think the food here is better than in the hospital too. For anyone in need of any type of recovery care, this is a great option.
