My name is Dennis Amer and my wife Elaine just completed two months of rehabilitation at Langdon Place of Keene . I was so impressed with everyone involved with her care . Not only were they successful in getting her broken leg back to normal they made her stay as comfortable as possible .From the doctors , nurses ,therapist , RNA's and office staff we thank you all so very much PS I highly recommend Langdon Place of Keene
Please think twice before leaving your loved one at this facility. It always smells like urine, and they do not take care of the residents as they should. The residents' words against the things they write down on their papers or say over the phone to family members may not be a real reflection of what is happening.
This review is significantly slanted because my Mothers Wedding Set was stolen from her hand sometime between Sunday at Nood December 29th 2024 and Monday at 11:30 am December 30st. We begged my Mother to let us take it off and take it home as she wanted her first Grand Daughter to have it. Not only did Mom not have it as she demanded at her passing on January 1, 2025 but my Daughter lost something very meaning full. Admissions Team is very welcoming and friendly!
My mother was in the memory care unit at the Village at Northrise; we knew from the start we would need to be with her daily to ensure good care (there were a few good caregivers). These are first hand observations: short staffed, staff always on their phones, engagement activities limited to non existant on weekends, residents were neglected and left on their own, facility dirty and neglected. this nursing home doe,s not cook the pasta all the way, it is half cooked, they say that is how it is to be cooked, the same with the rice. the room,s are nice and cleaned every day, the activate people love making loud noise,s such as there is a radio near the activate room that has to be on all day and night ,they will not turn it off after 8pm,they say a resident is listing to it but nobody is there. the staff just like,s to make alot of noise .the same with the tv in the activate room .other wise then that it is nice ... read more

Horrible place to stay. The food is inedible, disgusting. They did nothing to manage my type 1 diabetes, no ADA diet like my doctor ordered. My room was only cleaned one time in a week. I have a non weightbearing broken leg, the PT woman, Joanne is a control freak who does not listen to anything. The younger occupational therapist is clueless, she put my leg brace on wrong. They did NOTHING for me. I kept asking to try crutches, no luck. Joanne kept insisting I see a doctor in Westerly RI who I hate...again, they don't liste... read more
