one of my favorite restaurants!! I have been going to the Lido with my parents since I was little and to this day it remains one of my favorite places to go out to dinner. The food is excellent and so is the family-style atmosphere. My favorite dish and one that I will most definitely recommend is the thin crust pizza. Sometimes the wait is a little long for the pizza, but that's only because it is THAT good!
Neighborhood favorite, but just "okay" We went there for the first time recently, and yes, the atmosphere is very quaint. It's a neighborhood favorite. The Thin crust pizza is delicious, but I can't see all the euphoria - it was cheese, sauce and toppings. You cannot order any takeout pizza, unless you have eaten in - then you can order pies to go, and they'll be ready after the meal. I have no complaints about thin crust - I hate all the bread anyway - I had three slices and did not feel all bloated up, but really I just ca... read more

Upon walkign into Lido Restaurant, you will find a friendly family atmosphere, the best drink prices anywhere since the turn of the century, pizza that you will be dreaming about for months on end, and a quirky yet reliable staff that will have you planning your next visit before you're out the door.
Great!! Lido has really great food and quick reliable service. Prices are very reasonable and the best chicken parm for a many miles. Great family place to go.
We've been going there for years. Generations of my husband's family have been here. From when the kids were young, we go know as adults. My Mother-In-Law discovered this place. They have the best thin crusted pizza in the world. And I mean that. The crust is amazing, the sauce is out of this world. It does get crowded there so unless you get there when it opens expect to wait to be seated and for your food. But trust this family it is soooo worth it. Great pizza! The sauce is VERY tasty! The pizza was PACKED with toppings,the crust tasted perfecto,and they use a GREAT quality cheese! Now,onto the steak sandwich.It was very tasty,had LOTS of meat on it,and the lettuce/tomato on it was very fresh! The service was very good! Oh,and yes it was clean.I was so amazed this is my 2nd favorite pizzeria in Hackensack,NJ along with Brooklyn's Brick Oven Pizza.I'll be back!

SJustini who wrote the other review has no clue as to what makes a good pizza or steak sandwich. The two people who recommended the place, obviously do. This person is basing an opinion on a one time experience, while I've been there very many times. Generally the place is crowded, especially on a weekend night. The pizza is the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. The balance of ingredients is just right. The recipe has been the same for many years, which keeps bringing customers back.
