As a new patient today, Dr Islam made me feel seen, heard, and helped. He provided a detailed explanation of my symptoms, clarified the diagnosis, and enthusiastically provided a comprehensive treatment plan. Such is Dr Islam’s skill as a medical practitioner, I felt confident that if I followed his instructions, I would become symptom-free.
I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. The receptionist and nurse were both lovely, and the waiting time was reasonable — but unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. I wish to provide feedback regarding Dr. Shahala Khan. My experience indicated an unprofessional and dismissive approach to patient care. Notably, Dr. Shahala Khan missed two scheduled phone consultations (I didn’t leave any negative reviews until this happened again and again). I’ve been seeing physiotherapist Pooja for a few months with work related wrist injuries. Her treatment of my injuries has been exceptional along with her caring and very friendly attitude. Can not recommend her highly enough. Thank you
Consulting with Dr Rubaiyat Mahfuz via telehealth was quite disappointing. By being more focused on talking over you than listening, he is unable to obtain best practice medical history. Not to mention the patient feels unheard and frustrated.
