One of my favorite activities in the area!!! A great way to enjoy stargazing without spending a dime! Highly recommend!!!
I went with a group of about 20+ people late at night on a Friday. We I left that observatory I left with such a joy and possibly a new passion. The big telescope wasn't working, but they had two very precise telescopes setup in the back. It was fun to see Saturn's rings and the 4 moons of Jupiter. These guides were so knowledgeable. Ask as many questions as you can. This is FREE. So much fun.
I am obsessed with stars and I absolutely 100% enjoyed going here.

I have been curious about the stars ever since I was a small boy, and I would go to the local library to read all of the books about space I could get my hands on. Everything to do with the heavens always made me feel filled with excitement to view and learn about.
