I sincerely recommend using a different service for basic returns or a proper accountant for more complex taxes. I’ve been using Liberty for nearly 10 years. My taxes are not horribly complex and sadly Liberty makes mistakes annually. I have had to spend hours on the phone with the CRA each year to clarify and help me correct the errors made by Liberty Tax. I return to Liberty and ask for the corrections and explain how to enter them as per the CRA. I am then charged for an adjustment, an adjustment required by their error. ... read more
They make someone stand out in the cold rain all day wearing an embarrassment suit for advertising, it's just cruel. I wouldn't do my taxes here if they paid me, I'll certainly never give them my money.

Used to be my go to place for quick easy tax return. Not sure what has happened this year. Have tried for 3 weeks to get them to file simple single t4 return and they somehow have not. Won't be returning
SCAM! They will take up all your time with no care and leave you unsatisfied. Do not use liberty tax! Go somewhere else! Both locations in Sudbury are horrible. They take so long and are very unprofessional and unfriendly. They do not provide good customer service, they think they are doing us a favour. They are suppose to be “fast, accurate and friendly” which they are not. I had my taxes dropped off, it took 5 days to complete, with constant follow up.
