I called and said can I book an appointment before it’s too late to do my taxes? She said yes then hung up on me. I called back and said sorry I wanted to book an appointment and she seemed very unprofessional and doesn’t seem to be the kind of person I trust doing my taxes. Yikes!

I went to do my 2023 taxes, as well as file a readjustment to my 2022 return. My 2023 taxes got filed without an issue, but they never filed my readjustment for 2022. I called the two times to check if they filed it over the phone and both times they assured me they filed it. I checked again today and it turns out they never did. I had to go and do the adjustment myself. I called them to tell them of the situation and the person who did my taxes started getting upset. WARNING: Liberty Tax this year has had serious issues with many of their locations in Ontario and have closed them. I called the office in North Bay that handled my taxes last year , and was redirected to this office in Barrie and told me they would handle me over the phone. The whole conversation seamed so "scammy" to me, so I went to the old location in my town. .
