A couple of weekends ago, I took my friend to the ED at LRMC. She had been feeling unwell for a while and had started seeing doctors already. During the weekend, the situation escalated, and she called me to come take her in right away. Dr. Burks was the physician she saw, and we both credit him for saving her life! His quick action and knowledge got her the treatment she needed to live. Thank you, Dr. Burks, you were amazing.
