Dr Chiao was an excellent referral from my new dentist. I needed a root canal retreated- everything was explained before and during the 2 part procedure.She is caring and gentle. If needed in the future I would seek endodontic treatment from her
I came to visit Dr. Chiao with a terrible tooth ache, I was told to tell her to get a root canal immediately due to the severity of the pain. The pain was bad. She meticulously tested with a cooling method each tooth and found that many of my teeth were in great pain, and that the root cause was that I was grinding my teeth, she told me right away that I did not qualify for a root canal due to my clear symptoms, so she advised me instead to get a night guard, and to change to a sensitive toothpaste, applying fluoride to help... read more
I have had two root canals but the first canal was in December and my second one is in February I had to tell her that I was going for years to many specialist ear and throat doctor, dermatologist, nasal specialist and all have failed that my right ear was clogged and I felt water moving , itching and very painful . Dr. Chiao has a very warm and caring personality. She took time to thoroughly explain my scan reports and lay out all options for the treatments. Her knowledge about all dentistry related practices is superior. Dr. Chiao’s office always has very soothing and beautiful classic music played as background music. All her patients look very relaxed in her office. Dr. Chaio has a wonderful way with patients. She carefully explained everything she was going to do, described options, and why the option she proposed was best for my situation. I would also say as far as injecting anesthetic, I have never had anyone who did it better than her. I highly recommend her.
