After being around this business for over 35 years and I'm just trying to save you money and I'm sorry your upset.
If I ask for a simple tool I want it. If I show you what I need to do my job and what I want to use to do my job don't tell me what's cheaper or what "works better." Give me the tool I asked for or say you don't have it. Rude and smelled like straight liquor.
