Very disappointing, I was looking forward to this after seeing how amazing they looked online. All baked goods are open with no covering whatsoever, so you speak over it while ordering. I asked if they were baked fresh daily, which I was informed it was, when i took this home to eat it is very stale and inedible. All croissants i ordered with hopes of having over a few days but will have to be binned.
My wife has celiacs, so finding gluten free food is always a top priority for us, especially when traveling. We found Libby's through online searches and went there our first morning in London. It was amazing. The food was so good, you couldn't tell it was gluten free. Amazing focaccia bread, donuts, croissants and more. On top of that, the manager was super friendly. We had breakfast at Libby's every morning we were there. I highly recommend you check it out if in the Notting Hill area, whether you are gluten free or not.
When I visited Libby's, they were undergoing renovations, so the selection was limited. However, what I did try was very good! Everything is gluten-free. I found the prices a bit steep, though considering the location, perhaps they aren't all that high. I'll come back once the work is finished to update my opinion!
Crossiants were a great price, but very dense- the inside was almost like bread. The beef and mustard roll I had was brilliant though!! Would definitely go back! There aren't many tables so be prepared to take your food away
