libby's I have been to Libby's Manapua shop over a 100 times. I love the Manapua there and no other manapua shop can compete with that! The only thing that is lacking there is the service, you hardly ever get a thank you.. I mean sheesh you would think that i would be a good customer to them?? I guess they know they have the best manapua in town so why should they bother to say thank you! They should learn to appriciate there customers!
Auwe! Today, I had the unfortunate experience of buying manapua from Libby Manapua in Kalihi. For one thing their selection is so limited (no baked manapua) and for another, their staff is so unfriendly. When purchasing my items, I noticed that "pepeao" was spelled 'pepeyao" on their menu; which being the proud Hawaiian that I am, brought it to their attention. my oh my ok, guys. i'm here in north carolina and had the best laugh reading the war reviews! tanks you guys. gotta admit though whenever i'm home i head for libby's--actually have not patronized any other place. was just thinking i wish i had one.
#1 for a reason I have eaten manapua from all over Oahu including the manapua vans that used to cruise around the island. The only real competition is Chun Wah Kam and their manapua is too greasy and bland even if they treat you nice (I guess their specialty is noodles since they aren't called Noodle Factory for nothing). I LOVE THIS PLACE! When I dream about manapua Libby's comes to mind. Their pork manapua is the BEST on the island. Most places give you fatty port, but the ones at Libby's is lean and delicious. The prices are awesome too.
Amazing..... This is the best place for Dim Sum, Pork Hash, And of course All kinds of Manapua..Manapua is a Bread stuffed with chicken or pork inside and it is Steamed or Baked...Favorite place to eat amazing taste and at a reasonable price too...I recommend it to everyone..
Libby Manapua The manapua at Libby's is delicious. I prefer the the baked manapua vs the steamed ones. Libby's provides a wide variety of delicious fillings. My preference is the spicy chicken, kalua pig, and the regular, char siu.
The Best Libby's manapua shop is the best on Oahu. They are a little shop and have a limited selection but it is the best tasting manapua I have ever had. Their prices are reasonable. Call in early in the morning before the sell out.
