Communication with this doctor is more difficult than I've experienced with any other doctor's office. I was not able to get her on the phone and she would only call back once and left me a stern email because I don't pick up numbers not on my call list. She wouldn't call back again and wasn't available when i called. Their office wouldn't provide an itemized receipt for that visit when my fsa requested it. Dr Joffe is amazing. She is so thorough and is always available. She lets you know she is there for you. I highly recommend her.
I have had a terrific experience with my doctor, nutritionist, and exercise trainer.
She was my pcp for probably 15-20 years. Always a little abrupt but i brushed it off until recently. Fast foward i get cancer go thru treatment etc. End up being depressed and Dr Joffe offers antidepressants to me when I'm their for my physical. I try a couple out which gave me bad side effects so i stopped them. Long story short she tells me if im not going to take the meds she's prescribing me then dont waste her time. Dr. Joffe was my PCP for years and although I enjoyed having her as my doctor the changes in her office policies and staff have completely ruined the practice. Being charged a no show fee when I clearly cancelled my appointment is absurd. The concierge medicine switch was also a bad move and completely unaffordable. It’s a shame that a one time good practice is no longer that way.
