Our Dad moved to Lia's just over 4 weeks ago after being at a large institution for 6 months. The difference between the two is unbelievable! Lia's is truly a home. Our father recently passed away, just before his 93rd birthday, slightly less than a year after pretty sudden onset of rapidly debilitating dementia. He spent the first 6 months in memory care at a local, very nice, assisted living complex, however, there was such frequent turnover of staff, that with him all the while getting worse and worse, we were delighted when an opening became available at Lia's and we were able to move Daddy there in early September.
