I visited Lia’s Personal Care Home today in Buford Georgia. I was so impressed because it is so clean and spacious. The residents appeared to be very well taken care of and Happy. It is a lovely home with very nice, clean and attractive furnishings with many windows. I was so happy to be there as a provider of activities and music because I knew that Leah‘s residence were truly being cared for at the highest level. You can tell that she loves what she does

They sell you one thing, but the true performance is revealed when you're not there. The food is subpar, consisting primarily of canned goods and processed items for the daily meals. While staff will get requested items, the overall menu remains simple and inadequate. Although the home is clean and safe, that's just a mask for the underlying issues. My wife will begin her Sixth year since dementia diagnosis tomorrow (9/30/20). I had reached the limit of my ability to care for her at home. Lia’s Personal Home Care has been a great resource. As my daughter said, “They take care of her so you can just be her husband again.” There’s a lot of truth in that.

After a years-long journey through senior-living options including independent living, assisted living, and memory care, my wife and I lost hope that truly good care was possible for her mother, who was living with dementia. Prior to moving my mom into Lia’s, she had been in and out of rehab facilities and hospitals for four months. It was exhausting and required my constant attention to make sure she was being taken care of. Once mom arrived at Lia's, I could feel the stress begin to lessen dramatically.
