Not worth it for the price ($400-500), whatsoever: -It is laughable that they have mandatory valet service. I could have literally spit and hit my car from the distance the valet guy drove it. It just puts a bad taste in your mouth, you feel like you're getting hustled in a 3rd world country. -Room was nice, but the floortiles were cracked, some of liner boards worn down. I am truly a sucker for mid century modern architecture so I was really looking forward to our stay at Horizon. Unfortunately the experience fell short in several areas and we will likely not be returning. There were definitely some positives and the staff was kind throughout our stay, but the condition of the room and the lack of attention to detail were hard to overlook. We stayed in Suite 17. Disappointed with the value of this stiff, yet pretty hotel. The service, amenities and room are sub par relative to other high end hotels and resorts in this area (The Parker, The Kimpton Rowan, even the sister hotel Colony Palms is better), where we have previously stayed. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at L’Horizon. The staff was welcoming and genuinely attentive, and the food—especially the brunch—was excellent. Our room was beautiful and unique, making the experience feel special. I also had an outstanding massage with Christina, who was not only highly skilled but also warm and thoughtful and gave me some great life advice :) Overall, it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful, relaxing getaway. Highly recommend.
