RecommendedI just had to have emergency gall bladder removal surgery during this pandemic. That’s a very scary thought on so many levels, but everyone on the LGH staff made me feel safe & comfortable. In person, the nurses, doctors, foodservice and housekeeping teams were extremely professional & upbeat. My son was scheduled for surgery today, and we verified multiple times that it was still on, and so we reported to the hospital. Elective surgeries were cancelled, but no phone calls were made. The surgeon confirmed that she didn't even know that surgeries were cancelled! Instead of apologizing, LGH lied and said that phone calls were made to everyone cancelling surgeries. I just realised Ive never reviewed here! Well Ive been coming here since 1989! Ive had a couple docs along the way but Ive never had a problem. All the staff are awesome and friendly and they care! Thats rare these days! Ive referred a couple of family members and friends here over the years. I truly believe that your health care has to be a team effort between you and your medical staff.
