Good Doctor. Horrible staff. They never answer the phone, never return voicemails, on hold for 30 minutes. Talk on their personal phones having ridiculous conversations while patients stand in line at the front desk.
I have been looking for a primary doctor for a while. Didn't have good luck finding a good doctor until recently. I went to see Dr. Edward Leyva a few days ago. Because of past experiences, I did Google him and read the reviews. Yes, you do wait a long time before you're seen. I waited about 2 hours before I was seen. Dr.Leyva was very polite courteous, professional and even came up with a plan to hopefully help with my conditions. He takes the time to listen to his patients. You don't find too many docs who do that, so over... read more
Treats his patients with no respect for time, schedules you and doesn't physically show up till hours later. Leaves you waiting in the back for hours and can't do anything because he's his own boss. Worst time management ever. Be careful when filing a complaint, anything you say that's negative and he will dismiss you as a patient. You're not allowed to complain, because his words, "this is my practice and I'm my own boss".
Dr.Leyva is a wonderful doctor! I have an adult disabled son, he takes time and listens to my son, he is a very caring doctor and has helped my son tremendously with his healthcare needs. I also see Dr. Leyva and have had a good experience with him and his staff. I highly recommend him as a primary care physician.
