Took my IS300 for a pink slip this morning and was - for the first time in over 30 years of servicing each of my Lexuses - charged $50. Previously, regular patrons were provided with this service gratis. There has been no communication that the previous practice had been discontinued. To make matters worse, the service person appeared ignorant that regular patrons had ever been provided with pink slips without charge, explaining only that pink slips were only gratis when conducted concurrent with a service.
